18 July 2016 11 am Forty days on the Saint Martin's Way - Zsolt Kinyó's welcome in Szombathely

Zsolt Kinyó undertook something unique when he set off from Tours on 9 June on the more than 2,000-kilometre St Martin's Way to Szombathely. He wanted to cover the distance in forty days, and now it is certain that his plan will succeed. He walked fifty to sixty kilometres a day, sometimes in the pouring rain, sometimes in the sweltering heat. Sometimes he slept in a bed and breakfast was served, but there were also several occasions when he spent the night in the open air. At the weekend he is already walking the Hungarian section (Kercaszomor - Kerkáskápolna - Szatta - Csöde - Zalalövő - Zalaháshágy - Vaspör - Nádasd - Körmend - Harasztifalu - Ják - Szombathely). Zsolt is one of the record holders, as no one has ever done the distance in such a short time.

He is scheduled to arrive in front of the town hall on 18 July at 11am at Fő tér in Szombathely. Let's be proud of him and welcome him with applause!
