Via Sancti Martini - The main route of the Way of Saint Martin
Route: SOMBATHELY - LJUBLJANA - VENEZIA - PAVIA - MILAN - VIENNA - TOURS - CANDES
The route leads from Martin's birthplace (Szombathely) to the place of his death (Candes). The Hungarian section of the route is Szombathely - Ják - Körmend - Nádasd - Pusztacsatár - Zalalövő - Szatta - Kerkáskápolna - Kercaszomor.

The "middle" route
It starts from Szombathely. Via Germany (Rottenburg - Worms) to Tours. The closer route has not yet been fully determined. Its Hungarian section: Szombathely - Kőszeg - Sopronhorpács - Bogyoszló - (Pannonhalma) - Bágyogszovát - Lébény . Halászi - Rajka - (Pozsony). The route is joined at Pozsony by the St. Martin's Way between the Csalló Intermountains.
Savaria - Sopianae - Sirmium route (under planning)
The route will connect the three most important early Christian centres of Pannonia. Starting from Szombathely, it will lead via Pécs to Sremska Mitrovica in Serbia.
Via Insula Magna (St. Martin's Way between the Csalló Interfluve)
No administrative decision has been taken yet, but the route already exists in practice: Szombathely - Zagreb - Dugo Selo
The "host organisation" of the Via Sancti Martini - Saint Martin European Cultural Route is the Réseau Européen des Centres Culturels Saint Martin (European Network of Saint Martin Cultural Centres). The "Network" is a non-governmental organisation, independent of political organisations and denominations.

All member organisations are NGOs. The administrative seat is in Tours. The President of the Network is nominated by a different country each year.
The Network and its member organisations are the holders of the names and symbols associated with the Via Sancti Martini - Saint Martin's Way. The Network (or its member organisations) is entitled to issue pilgrim's (traveller's) identity cards valid for the route.
