One of the most eastern churches in Europe, dedicated to St Martin of Tours, stands in Faraoani / Hotrofalva in Moldavia. The small wooden chapel in the cemetery, with its image of St. Martin, was in a bad state of repair, so the St. Martin's European Cultural Route in Hungary Council Association organised its restoration. The work was carried out free of charge by Antal Marosfalvi, painter and restorer. The necessary materials were provided by the Rumi Rajki Art Society.

The painting will be back in Forrófalva on St. Martin's Day, but before it goes back to Szombathely, it will be on display for a few days in the chapel of St. Martin in the church of St. Martin, where it can be viewed by anyone.

Dates: 4 (Saturday) - 5 (Sunday) - 6 (Monday) November 10am - 6pm

On November 6, at 6 p.m., the picture will be blessed by Dr. János Székely, county bishop.
