Stop point - Podturen

The year of foundation of the parish of Podturen is unknown, but the first mention dates back to 1334. On the site of the present parish church there used to be a wooden church, of which no traces have survived.
The parish church, named after St Martin, was built in the second half of the 15th century in Gothic style and enlarged in Baroque style in 1783.
In the Gothic part of the sanctuary is a stone sacristy, the largest of the three known in Croatia. The Gothic part of the sanctuary is 12 m long and 7.5 m wide, the Baroque nave is 16 m long and 10.5 m wide. The wooden altars (Gothic in the sanctuary and two Baroque in the nave) were installed in 1909, when the ceiling was painted by the Italian artist Osvald Bierti.
The tower has 5 bells and the choir has a classical pneumatic nine-register organ dating from 1924.
