The parish church of Saints Peter and Paul was built in the 12th century. Its lined doorway, built around 1230, is an outstanding work of Romanian architecture in Hungary. In the first half of the 18th century the church was rebuilt in the Baroque style. During the monumental restoration between 1957 and 1960, Gothic elements of the building were discovered and made visible. Thus, the church today displays several architectural styles, from Romanesque to Gothic and Baroque to modern.
