In the centre of Győr, the diocese has built accommodations for pilgrims and tourists seeking peace and quiet.
The 23 apartments and one rest house were built in 2020. The Diocese of Győr used the funds from the tender to build the apartments at Káptalandomb 8-10 and 16, and the pilgrim rest house at Káptalandomb 9. Visitors to the Collis Sacer, the historical and religious heart of the city - the site of the Tearing Virgin Mary shrine, the St. Lazarus hermitage and the martyrdom of Blessed William Apor - can find peace and tranquillity in the tastefully renovated buildings. The chapel of the pilgrimage house, which can accommodate up to 50 people, is also a place of retreat.
