Point of interest -Mecsér - Danube bank
For nature lovers, the romantic, wild and scenic banks of the Moson-Danube offer a pleasant recreation. Fishermen, bathers and water hikers will find ideal conditions for relaxation and excursions. The opportunities and safety have been greatly improved by the rehabilitation of the river and the construction of a flood protection dike.
The Moson-Danube is the right bank of the Danube, bordering the Szigetköös
In 2015, the Mosoni-Duna river was dredged and rehabilitated on the left bank (on the Hédervár side), in the inner part of the municipality of Mecsér, and on the left bank (on the Hédervár side), on the tributary near the island of Mogyoróskerti.
