Point of interest - Fertőd - Water Tower

In the time of Miklós Fényes Esterházy, a water tower was one of the achievements of the time, which supplied buildings, the park or even the fountains with sufficient water.

They created a water tower with a storage tank on top that could hold 11,200 litres of water and pumped the water up using a horse-drawn gear drive.
