The Saint Martin's Way has again been awarded the Council of Europe's "Cultural Route of Europe" label.
The competent body of the Council of Europe has made the decision, the St. Martin's Way has once again been awarded the title of "Cultural Route of the Council of Europe". The route now covers nine countries, and the recognition is a joint success of the organisations operating in the nine countries.In 2016, the jubilee year of St. Martin, the Hungarian organisation held the presidency of the route, and the general assembly of the European organisation of the route was held in Szombathely. With the work it undertook, the Hungarian organisation also made a significant contribution to this success.
