Passport to the Way of Saint Martin

Unlike most cultural and pilgrimage routes, the Way of Saint Martin did not previously have a passport that anyone could obtain. Only occasional test copies were made, and copies were made with varying degrees of success.

The situation has changed, and now those who use the St. Martin's European Cultural Route can also obtain a pass. The document is 32 pages long and numbered. Its inner pages are in six languages (French, English, Italian, Hungarian, Slovenian and Croatian). The pilgrim's pass (let's call it that for simplicity!) is valid for the Via Sancti Martini route between Szombathely and Tours, and for Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and France.

In Hungary, the document can be obtained through the St. Martin's European Cultural Route Council in Hungary. The person in charge of the passport within the association is Béláné Mészáros ( meszarosibolya@gmail.com ) You can also apply for a passport by email by providing the necessary information (name, place of birth, address). The fee for the passport is 1000 HUF, which can be paid to the account of the association (account number: 12094507 - 01368543 - 00100003 Raiffeisen Bank).
