Stop point - Donja Voća

The parish of Donja Voća is mentioned in 1334 in the first complete census of the parishes of the Bishopric of Zagreb as "Parochia antiqua - Ecclesia S. Martini apud Woycha". The church of Voća has a single nave with two chapels on the sides. The church has been rebuilt several times, and only in the second half of the 18th century did it take on its present Baroque form. Its 41 m high tower is also in the Baroque style and is surrounded by a wall. In the parish church there are two large altarpieces of Saint Martin. The first, depicting Saint Martin as bishop, was probably placed on the former high altar. The other depicts Saint Martin as a Roman soldier in the famous Amiens scene. The same motif also appears on the façade of the bell tower of the parish church, which was painted during the last renovation of the church at the end of the 20th century.
