At the two edges of the square, next to the steps and carefully overgrown with trees, are statues of Franz Liszt (1911) and George Rafael Donner (1883), which only the ingenious visitor will notice. Also nearby is the baroque statue of the Holy Trinity, also known as the Plague Column, in Fish Square (Rybné námestie). Nearby is the 14th century monastery and church of the Clares.
The statue of St. Martin, cast in lead in the church, was made by George Raphael Donner in 1734. Many famous people are buried in the catacombs of the church. Among them.

In the sub-chapel below the cathedral are the tombs of several important historical figures. Among others, Péter Pázmány is buried here.
